The Hobbit Khaleesi’s Bookshelf

HOW is it Monday again so fast?! Weekends need to not go by so fast. 😒 I am not a fan of Mondays. Or mornings. So both at once is not my favorite. Can we just live in fictional worlds where no one has to adult? Please and thank you.  What did you read this week? I finished 4 books this week and got about halfway through another, so I feel all accomplished and my TBR is glaring at me a bit less harshly than before. 😂 In order, those books are: The 49th Mystic by Ted Dekker It picks up in the same world as the Circle series, a few years later, and introduces a few new characters, brings back some old friends, and all kinds of new trouble ensues. It’s not a book that I would call light reading, but it’s AWESOME. I would not suggest reading it if you’re not ready to ponder some fairly big philosophical questions though. I’m still working on wrapping my head around some of it, so fair warning, but I still HIGHLY recommend it!  I Believe In A Thing Called Love by Maureen

Hi guys! It’s Monday again, which means new post day!! I’ll be trying to post most Mondays, and the first Tuesday of every month, because I’m hoping to start a new tag! The first Tuesday of every month will be Trope Tuesday! On which I will post about some of our favorite and not-so-favorite tropes! You know those weeks when you think you’ll finally get stuff done, you have energy and time and all the caffeine and you’re ready to take on anything? Yeah, this wasn’t one of those for me. Wednesday morning I woke up with the worst. head cold. ever. Turns out, being able to breathe and move at the same time is kind of necessary, who knew? I spent Wednesday through Friday in bed doing almost nothing. But, I did manage to read 4 books, finish an audiobook I was working my way through, and get some plot points ironed out on my WIP, so aside from the breat
