Oh the irony.
Hi guys! Sooo, last week I was talking about learning how to rest, and how I’m terrible at it. And this week, I’m forced into resting, due to a head cold. God’s sense of humor is kind of annoying sometimes. But, I HAVE gotten a bunch of books read this week! I finished 6 books over the last week and 2 novellas, and will DEFINITELY get more reading done today because I can’t do much else at the moment. First up: Renegade Skyfarer by R. J. Metcalf! I LOVE this book you guys! Think Firefly team dynamic, dragons, disguises, and one VERY cute guardian, and I’m ALL OVER IT. The sequel releases later this fall, and I HIGHLY recommend starting this series!! City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab I’m not a big Middle Grade reader, but this little monster is BRILLIANT! If you like slightly scary stories that’ll give you the creeps and leave you wanting more, this is the book for you! I’d recommend it for mature middle grade just in case your kids (or you😉) are prone to nightmares. A Rumo
